Teresa put together an amazing trip for us in Colombia, South America. An ideal mix of a high-end luxury cruise with AMA Waterways up the Magdalena River and a 3-night custom designed visit in the charming old town of Cartegena. She picked a fabulous hotel, the Santa Clara, a 17th century abbey remade into a first-class resort hotel.
We enjoyed strolling along the picturesque streets lined with colorful colonial buildings accented with flowering vines twining up from the sidewalks and across the balconies and roofs. We treated ourselves to all the unusual tropical fruits from the street vendors’ overflowing carts and had the best arepas de huevos we’ve ever eaten!
The AMA cruise was a wonderful and unique experience immersed with the history and natural beauty of the Magdalena River. The ship was beautifully decorated and the crew delivered exceptional service. Our daily excursions gave us an intimate sense of the wonderful and friendly Colombian culture. The food aboard the ship was surprisingly delicious with lots of options at every meal.
The best part was that Teresa did all the hard work for us! She put together all the various parts of our trip, did all the paperwork and handed us a custom-made tour book for our trip outlining all the details.
I highly recommend Teremar Travel for anyone who wants any kind of travel: from adventurous to laid back luxury!
Teresa recommended a company we had never heard of for our 2-week small group tour of Japan this April. Turns out the company has been operating at a high level for many years and Teresa had experience using them previously.
Teresa met with us to provide a printed record of our itinerary, flights and lodging outside of the tour as well. She even provided a handy currency calculator to quickly give us a sense for the yen equivalent of dollars.

Teresa made the cruise really easy to plan, since she did all the detail work. She would ask us what we thought was important and make it part of the cruise. She took our input and selected the excursions for us. She even came to our house to present the travel book, which had all the information we would need in a nice easy to use place. By the way, the book makes a great souvenir of the trip. I had peace of mind knowing that I could always call Teresa if a problem arose.
My husband and I went on our first river cruise with Viking. Teresa did a wonderful job obtaining a good room with a balcony for us. She gave us a lot of information for our trip. Providing us with a packet she put together for each day of our trip. She made the booking and booked the excursions we wanted. This was a totally stress free trip thanks to Teresa! We use to make all our travel arrangements ourselves. Never again! All of our trips will be through Teresa! She is already putting together another trip for us. We loved our 10 days in Tuscany booked through Teremar Travel. Our group of 12 spent an amazing week in a private villa centrally located in Tuscany. The lodging included breakfast and dinner daily, along with locally sourced wines. Teremar guided us through available local tours, villages, walled cities and wineries within driving distance for day trips.

Theresa helped me, an older person with a walking disability and my friend, also disabled, plan a delightful Graceland tour and plan our excursions on the River Cruise that allowed us to do many fun activities within our capabilities.
